A little something more!
First and foremost, PDT seeks to lead the dance community in professional instruction and curriculum. From there, we seek to extend student engagement with:
- A positive and encouraging environment where all students feel encouraged to grow
- An incredible competitive company and YAGP team
- Production Recitals families and students alike can’t wait to see and perform
In addition to the above, there are also many little things we really enjoy and we thought we’d share some of these ‘Extras’ with you!
Miss Courtney Graduates in London!
Studio Owner Miss Courtney Piccoli received her associates in Imperial Classical Ballet and became a member of the International Society of Teachers of Dancing. Her family joined her in London for her graduation ceremony. It was a wonderful family trip and our 1st to London and Paris!
PDT NE Young Artists 2019-2020
PDT was honored this year to have 3 of our dancers win the NE Young Artists Award in Dance. Partnering Miss Phoebe in this video is PDT student and former NE Young artists award winner Salvador.
PDT Broadway Series 2019-2020
This year PDT connected students with current Broadway performers via live video feeds. Students had the pleasure of learning these amazing performers paths from childhood to Broadway. Students also received some wonderful insights in their live Q & A and dialogue with these Broadway Actors and Actresses.
Master Classes at the Lied Center
PDT was truly blessed to have so many wonderful opportunities for master classes at the Lied Center. From the American Ballet Theater, to the national tour of An American in Paris to the national tour of Bandstand, scores of PDT students were blessed with many great opportunities to learn.
PDT’s Quick Choreo Challenge
We had so much fun with this. Students were given 30 minutes to learn choreography of a particular style and then….Lights, Camera, Action! We love teaching not only great technique, but the ability to pick up choreography quickly!
